FREEAUTOBOT USER GUIDE

IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A REPLY
FreeAutobot has immediately sent you a Welcome Letter and in a timely manner we will respond to your queries upon request.  HOWEVER, IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A REPLY, then, most likely, you or your ISP is using Spam Filters.  Usually this is done, WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION.  Some filters require us to acknowledge the sending of our email by entering camouflaged code.  WE WILL NOT DO THIS as it is time consuming and regarded as another ploy to exploit the Internet.  They do more harm than good! 

* When requesting Customer Support, please include your UserName and Password.  Email to: SUPPORT@FREEAUTOBOT.COM.  Be sure that you have FIRST read the User Guide below as all questions that are answered herein, will simply be referred back it.

* Please be aware of the Add Leads Section (Please Note & Caution).  These are our main queries.

Section A:  JOIN NOW / FORGOT YOUR USERNAME / PASSWORD

If you haven’t joined, please do so by going to www.freeautobot.com and pressing the Join Now Button.  Be sure to complete the form and enter a valid email address.

If you have FORGOTTEN YOUR USERNAME or PASSWORD.  Click on the link in the log-in page: http://freeautobot.com/cgi-bin/autores/autores.cgi that says FORGOT YOUR USERNAME/PASSWORD.  Your details will be immediately emailed to you.  That is, if you have entered the correct email address upon joining..

Section B:  HOW TO LOG IN
Enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD at:
http://freeautobot.com/cgi-bin/autores/autores.cgi

USERNAME and PASSWORD are CaSe Sensitive. 
Be sure to not add any extra spaces (space bar) or marks - !”£,’# etc.
* You have created these names when you first joined, so only you know what they are.

This will take you to YOUR private Main Menu and say SUCCESSFULLY LOGGED IN.

You now have several options. 

1. You can click on the Banner Exchange Button. http://banners3.freeautobot.com/cgi-bin/bannerex/banadm.cgi  (This will take you to the Banner Exchange & PREMIUM Banner section).

2. You can click on various links that will help you promote your business.  These links are some of the very best and most productive on the Internet.  If we hear that our users are not getting good result from these offers, we remove them immediately.

3. In the Statistics box you can Change your >From / Reply email address.

4. **** You can Set-up your FreeAutobot Service by clicking on one of the following Tabs at the top:  Add Leads, Search Leads or Message Control.

Section C:  MESSAGE CONTROL
**** FIRST, you must click on MESSAGE CONTROL.
This takes you to a page called MESSAGE CONTROL. This is your main FreeAutobot Engine.
This is where you write your own series of messages.

Please note the immediate/instant message is message ‘0’. This is already there and all you need to do is EDIT It.  EDIT THIS NOW by clicking on Edit next to Message ‘0’.  Now, make changes to the Subject Line and the Message (body).  After you are satisfied with what you have written, you must click on the UPDATE button at the bottom of the page.

To add another message, Click on the ADD NEW MESSAGE button.  This will take you to a page called ADD MESSAGE and show you which cycle it is (the first time it will be Message Cycle 1 – this is the message that goes out after the Message Cycle ‘0’ – your instant message).  NOW, Edit the Subject Line and Message (body) just like above.  Except this time you will not be changing anything, you will just be entering text.  After completing this, be sure to enter a number that tells FreeAutobot How many days after the last message was sent (in this case, message ‘0’) that you want this new message sent.  Leave the drop down menu to ‘Active’.

When you are finished, be sure to click on the button that says Add Message. 

Now if you want you can repeat this process as many times as you like (up to 20 messages).  If you require more simply ask and we will be glad to add them to your account for FREE.

ALWAYS READ THE HELP FILES (located in your FreeAutobot control panel) AS THEY ARE DIFFERENT IN EACH SECTION AND CONTAIN EXCITING FEATURES LIKE ADDING EXTRA PERSONALIZED FIELDS TO YOUR MESSAGES.  You would add these tags (field names) in your messages so that FreeAutobot can automatically insert the relevant information in the tags place when the message is received by the prospect.  These Field Names must be entered EXACTLY as they appear below.

HTML:  If you are creating your messages in HTML, be sure to include all of the code from: <HTML> at the beginning to </HTML> at the end.  If you need information on writing in HTML, please consult your HTML Editing program.

WARNING:  When using programs like MS Word and Front Page amongst others, extra code may be added and must me deleted for your pages to read correctly.

TIP 2: Many Affiliate programs offer pre-written letters that only require you to Copy and Paste the text into your FreeAutobot Message. To do this is very simple: Highlight the original text and press CTRL-C to copy, then move your mouse over to your new FreeAutobot message and click, then press CTRL-V.  Continue this process until complete.

TIP 3: NEVER USE the ' # ' (the hash mark or pound symbol) in your subject line.  Hotmail and a few others will automatically block it from being received.

Section D:  ADD LEADS.
After you have completed adding your messages, you may want to test your FreeAutobot Account. 

CAUTION:  If you Add a new message, after a lead has been established, that lead will not receive the new message.  LEADS ONLY RECEIVE THE AMOUNT OF MESSAGES THAT WERE IN YOUR MESSAGE CONTROL AT THE TIME OF BECOMING A LEAD.  Be sure to add all your messages before adding leads.

To do this you either send an email to yourusername@freeautobot.com or you can go to the Add Leads section and enter your name and email address.  Then press Add Lead.  FreeAutobot will automatically send you Message ‘0’ – your instant message.

PLEASE NOTE:  If an address is already in your database it will not be sent a second series of emails. You will need to first delete it.  To delete an address, go to Search Leads, Press Search and all of your leads will appear.  Place a check mark in the box marked Delete and then go to the bottom of this page and click on the Delete Checked box.  Now try testing again.

The ADD LEADS HELP FILE will show you how to add an OPT-IN FORM to your Web Site.  You must have back door access to your site before you can attempt to use this feature.  ALSO remember that programs like MS Word and Front Page amongst others, add extra code that must be adjusted for your Opt-in form to work correctly.  All Code is case sensitive and must be 100% accurate.  Whenever any new customer enters their details into your Opt-In Form, they begin to receive your FreeAutobot series of e-mails.

WE NO LONGER PROVIDE AN UPLOAD OF EMAIL ADDRESSES FEATURE DUE TO ABUSE BY SPAMMERS.  You now have to add leads one at a time via the Add Leads section.  DO NOT SPAM – FREEAUTOBOT WILL INSTANTLY DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT.

Section E:  SEARCH LEADS
This section will show you everyone who has requested further information and are receiving your FreeAutobot Series of emails together with other information. 

TO SEARCH FOR ALL LEADS just press the SEARCH button at the bottom of the page without making any criteria choices.  This will show you the status of each lead together with the first and last date of each sent email.  From this you can confirm that FreeAutobot is posting your emails.   

ACTIVE - they are still receiving your emails;
NORMAL - they have received all of your emails; 
BOUNCE - the email was rejected due to a full mailbox or recipients server having problems.  You can reset bounces by clicking on the REACTIVATE BOUNCES Button at bottom of page. 
USER – they have decided that they no longer want to receive any more emails;
ADMIN - we had to stop this user from receiving emails because they complained directly to FreeAutobot.

From the bottom of this page you can:

DELETE A LEAD.  When all your leads are shown, tick in the DELETE box next to the lead you want to delete, Then at the bottom of the press the button DELETE CHECKED.  Be sure to have place a check mark next to the lead you want to delete and be caution about pressing Delete All.

EMAIL BROADCAST TO ALL ACTIVE AND NORMAL STOP USERS by clicking on the link ‘EMAIL ALL LEADS’ and follow the instructions.

DOWNLOAD ALL YOUR LEADS by pressing the DOWNLOAD LEADS button .

RE-ACTIVATE BOUNCES This feature only resets the search results, so if you want to re-activate all bounced leads, first do a search for all leads with a bounce status, then press the reactivate bounces button..
